Ibiza

I still remember my holiday in Ibiza, with my first wife before we married. We stayed in San Antonio, and although there were discos, there were also oases of peace. We spent many happy hours walking round the coast, but also partied at night, making sure we didn't get to bed too late...

I suspect Ibiza has changed a lot in the last thirty years, and not for the better.

boat trip to Formentera

We took a boat trip to Formentera. We sunbathed on the boat, and again - naked - on the beach, after a lunch of Paella cooked in a huge flat dish on a barbeque.

By the time we returned on the boat, we were really burnt. We could scarcely move and I am reminded of the old joke about how hedgehogs make love - very carefully. It's much the same with sunburn.

I also recall lying for hours in a cold bath. I have never been so burnt.
