www.theblisspages.com - travel: BelgiumI didn't get to see much of Brussels as I popped over on Eurostar for a three-hour meeting.
The journey was uneventful, and I had about a fifteen minute walk to the office through a park, on a clear, crisp morning.
I was called upon for my technical views during the meeting, on some software being deployed Europe-wide, and then took a walk back to the train station, and another train home.
I was impressed by the Eurostar service, which went at an impressive speed - much faster than Le Shuttle, which ferries cars through the tunnel at a stately 50 mph. As I watched the French countryside flash past at an impressive rate, I reflected on the vastly inferior service we have to put up with in Britain. C'est la vie!
