It started, innocently enough
with the removal of a shoe.
A shower of clothes followed
until he stood proud,
clad only in clouds
until the law stepped in.

His Trafalgar mount
affirmed his new beginning
separated from the old
celebrating the new

I never met Simon
but he feels like a sibling
painted from a similar broad brush
with complementary palettes.
