If you have a phone that can send text messages, you can easily send emails, using a service by eXcell. It just costs the price of the SMS text message and is very easy to set up.
Go to www.excell.to to send messages. Registration is optional, but as it only involves sending a text message to eXcell and gives you facilities like setting up signatures, email reply to addresses and the like, it's a no-brainer.
