www.theblisspages.com - I am not stressed
but I'm not stressed
Stress?
I am not stressed.
I don't have time to be stressed.
I rushed down to a workshop on stress management.
I nearly didn't make it. I had to write-up my last meeting,
then my email was full, so I couldn't send it
... but I'm not stressed.
I'm invited out tonight. To poetry. Murray Lachlan Young.
At least, I hope I am. I didn't have time to reply,
and now I can't send any email
... but I'm not stressed.
My shoulders are stiff from yoga. It was my first time this year.
I haven't had time to go before. Or money.
I knew I'd be stiff afterwards, and I had to rush my Pranayama
... but I'm not stressed.
Now I'm doing meditation. Did you know that
when we smile, we only use eight muscles?
I'm worried about which eight I should use
... but I'm not stressed.
Thrust the arms up, breathe in. Drop them, breathe out.
Now let the breath be as gentle as the thought,
as time flows by, unnoticed ...
... now I'm not stressed.
